Our luxury Pet Caskets are made from strong, durable, non-biodegradable Durolon (plastic) designed to withstand extreme pressures and temperatures. Durolon Caskets/Vault Combinations are made from advanced composite technology which produces high quality water proof caskets that are enviromentally friendly and provide the ultimate in protection.
Seamless construction of these pet caskets creates a leak-proof enclosure. Then the mold creates a fit to seal the casket. Each casket comes with a packet containing a rubber strip made from a concrete mixture for sealing. The base of the casket has a groove for placing the seal. The seal is placed on all four sides. When applied to the casket, the pressure of the weight of the lid and the moisture of the air combines the mixture to bind with the Durolon material to create the vault seal that would require a chisel to bust open. The lid is attached to the body with 2 hindges.
Each casket is hand poured and a seamstress makes each individual interior. The bed is not sewn closed. Each bed includes three foam layers to fit a variety of pets. If the pet is small, three layers fit best. If the pet is larger, one or more of the layers can be removed to allow enough space for a comfortable fit.
