Seamless construction of these hinged pet caskets creates a leak-proof enclosure. Then the mold creates a fit to seal the casket. Each casket comes with a packet containing a rubber strip made from a concrete mixture for sealing. When applied to the casket the pressure of the weight of the lid and the moisture of the air combines the mixture to bind with the Durolon material to create the vault.
